First Brazilian in Space!

The first Brazilian astronaut is in orbit. His name is Marcos César Pontes. He traveled to the International Space Station ISS with a Russion Soyuz TMA-8 from the Russion Space Launche Facility in Baikonur, Kazakhstan in the night between the 29th and 30th of March.
He will return to earth in the second weekend of April.
Update: his Soyuz landed in Kazachstan on April 8.
