So you want to type ã,é,à,ç?

Portuguese has a lot of special characters like ã,é,à en ç and Brazilian computers have no difficulty producing them. But typing Portuguese is sometimes hard if you buy a computer outside Brazil.
Here is an easy solution for Windows XP:
1) Go to Control Panel >> Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options >> Regional and Language Options
2) Select the languages tab and click on "details"
3) Change the keyboard type from "US" to "US-International".
Now you can easily produce the characters you need. For instance, if you type first ' and than c you'll get ç and if you type first ~ and than a you would get ã. Use the spacebar after the ~ if you want to type ~a instead of ã.
